Bland, dissapointing fish. Quinn’s came highly reccomended but my family of 5 was dissapointed. We were all talked into having the ono on the grounds that it was fresh, and the rest of what was available was frozen. I don’t understand why they need to rely on frozen fish in a place like this. When the 5 portions of ono and chips turned up the chips were great, and I liked my pickle and glass of beer, but all 5 of us did not like the fish, which was bland, oily and tasted like chewed up lumps of cardboard covered in batter. On the positive side we were only asked to pay for our drinks, but I did need to go and find dinner elsewhere.
Delicious fish-n-chips (ono)! Friendly, fast. Family had salad w/Ono fish and the Hawaiian burger w/pineapple. Their pineapple coleslaw is wonderful too. Great outdoor eating area. Will eat there again when down from Alaska. 🙂
My wife and I tried this restaurant. It was not very good the service was mediocre. I hag gotten the captions choice from the dinner menu. The fish was delicious but the rest of the plate was terrible. They put too much beer batter on the shrimp so the middle of the shrimp was not cooked all the way the veggies I had gotten with my plate you can tell they were once frozen like the ones you can buy in a bag from the grocery store. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. it was a waste of time and money.
We ate here 10 years ago and it still is amazing. They serve fresh seafood from local places. It’s a great place for a snack, dinner, or a drink 😉
NOT BOOTY! I ordered the fish tacos and was underwhelmed to say the least. the dinner comes with 3 on a plate and I wish there were less so I wouldn’t have to eat as many. service was friendly and we we’re served quickly but those were the only highlights. Quinn’s almost by the sea? more like Quinn’s below average cuisine. right? right guys? this thing on..,
Definitely get the fish and chips. $11-13 for lots of delicious battered fresh daily caught Ahi, Ono, or Mahi Mahi. The hamburger fries are crispy and yummy.
The staff were nice but foods were terrible. We ordered shashimi ono it tasted frozen. The clam chowder was okay. The fish and chip (ono was fish of the day), it was tasteless. Eventually we paid and just walked out without finishing half of the foods. We went some where else to finish our dinners, it was really that bad.
