Just another greasy spoon. Tables were dirty and sticky, food took forever despite few customers, mac salad was like eating mayo straight from the jar. If you like grease and indigestion, go to Bland’s.
Blanes’ Waianuenue. Arrived at the order window, placed my order. Five parties arrived after me got their order. Then the counter girl told me that they were out of tuna for my second sandwich. Changed it to a ahi sand, deluxe; no they were out of onions. Half an hour later got my orders, original ahi sand (no tartar or mayo has mayo), second sand is mahi. She says thank you, I need to ask for my drinks, she gives me one and smiles. ‘I also paid for a slush’, she gets it, it’s wrong size and wrong drink. Open sand and the ahi has mayo. Never again!
