Delicious AND Healthy. This place rocks Hilo. It is my new favorite breakfast spot–when I want to splurge while not devastating my diet. There is also just a great vibe there, in the center of downtown Hilo right next to Bear’s on Keawe. I never would have thunk to combine kale with eggs, but they do that and a LOT more in courageous and creative ways.C.
TAKEOUT ORDERS. I really love the food here, but I work in an office with only 1/2 hour lunch break and it takes me 10 min to get there and 10 min to walk back. I called to make a takeout order but was told that they do not make takeout orders. The reason was that they only had one person covering the front and it would take her away from taking care of the people in the restaurant. This very sad because they are missing out on a lot of business there are a lot of people that cannot come in and sit down. I could not understand it – I would think that a takeout would be easier than a sit in because she would not have to serve me, she would only have to collect my money at time of pick up… Bigger turn around for the restaurant as far as income. I use to be a waitress and I loved takeout orders because they were fast and no cleanup..
