Kamana Kitchen has a delicious assortment of indian dishes. I started with the Veggie Samosas as an appetizer which you can dip in a chutney dip or savory spicy cilantro dip. Then had the Chicken Tikka Masala with jasmine rice it was absolutely delicious. I will go back!

I’m in love. I haven’t eaten a lot of Indian food in my time, but so far Kamana Kitchen has been the best tasting for the best price. I got the lamb curry special. For $12.95 it’s one of the pricer options for lunch, but is still a steal in comparison to other Hilo joints. Along with the lamb curry came rice, pita, salad, dal, vegetable curry, and achar which made for enough food for two people. I really liked the dal and the two curries. For someone who can’t handle a ton of spice in their food this place nailed the level of heat. It was hot but not TOO hot. I do wish they’d been better about refilling the water though, I finished my glass before I’d finished half of my dish.
