They can easily be a high end meal, but house to stay humble. Took our family off guard with their wonderful flavored!! Their house-smoked soysauce sashimi, and began noodles were A-MAZING!!
The food here described as fusion. Everything appeared to be cut up like a home cook would. The menu is very small and if you don’t find something that interests you straight off don’t bother turning over the page cause its blank. The food was dissappointingly bland and not cohesive. Waitress was a little frazzled.
A real gem in downtown Hilo! We started with the brussel sprouts, a perfect cooked bowl with great flavor from the citrus/fish sauce. Probably the best brussel sprouts we’ve tried and they seem to be hot right now! The Udon with pork belly, was flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles, bok choy and a real pork flavors. Lastly, the fried rice with wild boar sausage and pork was also nicely prepared, with numerous tastes from smoky ham to bits of vegetables. I’d definitely recommend Moon and Turtle if you’re near Hilo.
Gig Harbor Island girl. By far the best Thai food I have ever had! Well worth a trip to Hilo from anywhere on the Island. The freshes ingredients prepared perfectly. Wonderful Aloha service. Can’t wait to go back.
Tried this place for the first time- pineapple friend rice and fried tofu were really good. Beer selection on tap with some nice local brews. Would recommend if you like Thai food!
I love the curries!. This has to be my favorite Thai restaurant in Hilo! The food is always fresh and served fast. They have a great menu selection and the prices are affordable! I love the green curry and coconut soup! Definitely will be back!
Went there for dinner on a whim. It was AWESOME! The food had creative flavors, the service was on it, and the atmosphere was peaceful and CLEAN! It definitely didn’t feel like we were in downtown Hilo right near Kalakaua Park! 😉
