Ok, hard to grade but ill start with the food. I read some of the reviews and disagree with most of the negative ones when it comes to the food. I personally enjoyed every bit of it. The sushi was fresh and delish. I had the volcano, spider, and rainbow rolls. Nice presentation. I also had the curry ox tail and that was amazing. Overall great food. Now… the place is packed… we waited at least a 1/2 hour to be seated and at least another 15 minutes to order our drinks. They can definitely use another 3 servers there. The ambiance can also be better considering all the business and $$$$ being made there. If you have some time and dont mind waiting, this downtown Hilo sushi spot is worth the wait.
