Downtown Hilo area outdoor dining. First of all you are greeted by the smell of sweet hawaian pineapples, hence the name of the establishment. Nice ambiance. The service was great, we were attended to by a lovely lady that took really good care of us. Now the food, i had the skirt steak… honestly it wasnt my thing. I thought it was over marinated and heavily sauced. Totally overwhelmed, couldnt taste the steak. I also had the poke, an island favorite. Delish and fresh. If you are into raw fish, Id recommend it as an appetizer.
