We had our late lunch here after our short snorkel in hanauma bay, it is an interesting place, the wall are covered with graffiti which are verses from the bible. So my husband and I shared the adobo rice and I also had the garlic chicken, for me the adobo chicken is good. Very tasty and flavorful. The fries was also crispy and good.

Recently moved to the island and wanted to try local food and ordered 6 different types of meats. Seemed hit and miss. Chicken seemed over cooked and tough. One plate with taro was okay but I probably would have liked it prepared another way. Other chicken dishes were good and would get again… Overall I would only stop by if in the area for a sandwich.

Mix plate best way to go!. I usually grab a couple of mixed plates to go if I am lazy to cook on weeknights. I learned to ask for the macaroni salad in a separate container because it tends to get all messy in the plate. You cannot go wrong for the price, you get three things in the mixed plate- kalua pig is always a winner, pork and peas has great flavor and bbq chicken is always a great choice.

Mahi Mahi burgers are pretty good. Shave Ice was wonderful. Not the best seating area but at least give it a try!

This place awful. The food is too greasy and poorly prepared. The dining area is covered in scripture and paintings of Jesus, no one has taken the time to clean the benches or tables

Yum, Keneke’s!. O.K., fair warning…unless you’re really really hungry, you would probably be perfectly happy with a mini plate. Their big plates are really big. Although it’s very simple, my favorite thing to order here is the shoyu chicken. It is moist and falls off the bone. Other people in my family prefer the Kalua Pig. The grilled Mahi Mahi is a decent choice if you want something lighter. There isn’t really a good dining area here though, even though they have a covered area with picnic tables. The best thing to do is to take your meal and head to the Waimanalo Beach Park (unless it’s windy and you don’t like sand in your food.)
