This place is a gem. I’ve been searching for a turkey and cranberry sandwich for years, and they have it here! It was everything that I was hoping it would be, and I might just come back on my birthday.
Not bad at all!. Came here for a quick lunch and drink to recharge after shopping in Ward Center. Service was lovely, prices were really good. We had the chicken sandwich which was fine, and the 2 chilli dogs for $9.95, and they were fantastic, exactly how I’d imagined a coney style chilli dog to be. Highly recommended for a quick tasty lunch.

Not Bad at All!. One of the first places I tried after my wife and I got transferred here earlier this summer. I’m originally from the Detroit area, and I love me a good coney dog. I ordered the twin chili dog entree, and I was not disappointed!
We just moved to Oahu and our travel guide mentioned big city diner. I believe it was our first meal in Hawaii. All I have to say is YUM! I have the famous moco loco (hope I didn’t hack the name) and it was more than insane. We’re from Texas and know good beef, yet alone food. My wife had the stir fry and we were both shocked with how large the portions were considering the price. Our tab was like sixteen dollars and worth every penny. The moco loco was sooo good! Large beef party, perfectly seasoned, grilled and quality of meet was second to none. The egg, rice and gravy were A+ as well. My wife’s stir fry was crisp, tasty and fresh. The staff was super friendly and the decor was awesome. I can’t wait to go back! The big city diner has it down! My favorite place thus far on Oahu. A++++++++
Very nice and FUN. 50’s diner type with TV’s, etc. Very busy, open atmosphere.I had the super nachos with chili, and they were good (big too). My friend had the meat loaf which was HUGE and generally good.Service was friendly and excellent. Prices seemed reasonable.Take a look at what people are eating (as you go to your seat) or watch the food as it comes out of the kitchen. Burgers looked HUGE and I think I’m going to try the club sandwitch the next time I go as it was HUGE and looked great.
