Cake Couture is the only bakery I’ve been to or even heard of in Hawaii that has such amazing cupcakes. The first time I had their chocolate cupcake, my heart melted. I never really liked chocolate cupcakes, but my friend had insisted on me trying it and ever since then, they’ve been my guilty pleasure. The best thing about their cupcakes is the frosting. It’s light and soft, and when you poke it with your fork, the outside cracks a little bit like a shell, but the inside is sooo sweet and creamy. I definitrly recommend Cake Couture. You won’t find cupcakes like theirs anywhere else on the island.

Cupcake Gods. Cake Couture does one thing, cupcakes, and they do it astonishingly well. I’ve been fortunate to visit this heavenly bakery many times and have even been guilty of bringing friends (hey, that’s how I learned about it!). I am partial to their Mocha cupcake. A soft, moist chocolate cupcake it topped with a lighter than air, sweet, delicate and mouthwatering mocha frosting. Three little coffee mochi candies top each masterpiece which soon finds itself reduced to nothing but a cake-lined wrapper. They are, in less than eloquent words, SO GOOD. Flavors range from Red Velvet to Black and White, as well as Peanut Butter and Ho-Ho inspired flavors. $2.50 per cupcake is standard, and the menu of flavors changes according to the day. I recommend buying a box of 4 for $10.00, and eating them all yourself. You wont be sorry!
