Snag a table first. We made the mistake on two separate visits if ordering first and then when we turned around a line had formed and no tables were available. Food is good and prices are fair.
Pancakes were ok but nothing else was fresh. I ordered a bowl of strawberries and they brought out previously frozen and now melted grossness. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.
You order at counter and pick up food on your own kind of place. Nothing fancy but got good loco moco. They have coconuts syrup, and it’s great for pancakes!Great for quick breakfast!
Very good breakfast at good prices (for Hawaii) love the coconut pancake syrup!
Absolutely womderful restaurant. Had breakfast among many locals and tourists. Extremely cheap. Good cup of coffee was 95 cents. Wife and I got out of there for $11.41. Who says Honolulu is over the top expensive. Inside and outside dining.
Yum!. A little bit of everything in there, old standards, and things I’ve never heard of in my 20 years in the restaurant biz. If you’ve never heard of it and you happen to be at any one of their locations, do yourself a favor, and order the Vinha D’Alhos. Essentially, it’s a Portugese white wine and herb marinated pork that is served as a breakfast meat, and it is melt in your mouth amazing. I have Vinha at least twice a week now.
