My main observation about this place was that the portions are GIGANTIC. We had leftovers for days. That can be good or bad depending on your style I guess! So the food wasn’t cheap, but the portions were quite generous. We went on a weeknight when it was pretty relaxed in there (I’m assuming it’s much busier on the weekends). Our waitress was nice. The atmosphere was cool- dimmer ‘mood’ lighting, and they’ve definitely got an interesting interior with lots of stuff on the walls to look at. Also big windows overlooking Ala Moana.

Finally! Some Decent Mexican on the Island. My wife and I have been here for 3 years, and every so often, we’d get the hankering for Mexican. Sadly, in the time we’ve been here, every place that we have tried has been a flat out disappointment. We went here last weekend expecting more of the same but were surprised to have after years of disappointment, our first decent Mexican meal on Oahu. The flautas were nice and crispy, my chimi was perfect, and my wife had nothing bad to say about the tamales she ordered. They apparently will even do tableside guacamole if your order it as an appetizer. You might have to wait a little bit, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
