Food was good but service at table was mediocre. Two of us for late dinner. When seated table set for only one and took awhile to get 2nd napkin. Likewise for bread, we only had one plate, which we shared. When side dishes came out they forgot the utensils for the sides and never brought them. We survived fine using our utensils for the sides dishes we were splitting.
Not Worth the Money. I don’t usually write reviews for restaurants that I have visited; however, I felt compelled to speak up about this WAY overpriced restaurant. Some good points about the restaurant is the atmosphere, the steak, and the service was good. The atmosphere is romantically lit and really sets the mood. The steaks were very good (at $45 dollars a piece, how couldn’t it be). Dinner for two costs about $200. This price includes steak, a couple appetizers, and the house wine. As I mentioned, the steaks were great, but the side dishes were horrible. There was ten different things to pick from ranging from french fries to spinach. We got the au gratin potatoes and the spinach. They were both terrible and not at all what I would consider 4 star quality. The food lacked culinary creativity and did not seem like anything created by a chef. The potatoes seemed like something made from a box with melted cheese on top. And the spinach was so bland and cheaply done that we ended up throwing most of it out. This place is way over priced and not at all worth the money. For $200 you can find a much better dining experience elsewhere. I highly recommend spending your money somewhere else.
Great steak. By far the best steak I have had so far, the food took a little while, but the staff kept the bread and water flowing until the apps got there. The crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious, even for a mushroom phobic individual like me. I had the filet, and it most certainly did not disappoint. My buddy had the strip, both were prepared to perfection. Oh and the wine list… Amazing. The sides were gigantic, and can definitely be shared between two diners. Overall a great dining experience and will go back

Fantastic Food & Service. We try to eat here at least twice yearly! The food and service have always been excellent! It’s quite a treat to go on a Birthday or Anniversary, it’s worth the $$!!

Very Disappointed. My husband and I were anticipating a great dining experience on our anniversary but was very disappointed. The level of service definately did not match their prices.I guess it was my fault for ordering crab legs at a steak house. Server and manager seem more interested in serving a group of tourists. I had to ask for clarified butter to dip my crabmeat in but that was not the worst part of our experience. After waiting 10 minutes for the butter (and my crab was getting cold), the butter brought to us was solid and cold! My hubby did not want to make a scene and used the warming candle to try to melt the butter. While he was holding the candle under the butter the server walked by, looked at us and didn’t say a word to check for satisfaction. The manager stopped by the table, looked at what my hubby was doing and asked if everything was fine. We were shocked and disappointed . Save your money. There are other great places to eat steak. We will never eat here again.
