My whole family loves this little spot right down on the beach. Castaway Cafe has a really cool down to earth feel to it and it really justifies its name. The views are amazing, make sure you try to get a patio seat or a table with a view of the ocean when you go! The food is all very good, all 6 of our party got different orders and we were all very pleased with the food. Also, the shuffleboard area just outside the cafe is way more fun than it looks! Definitely will go back soon! To people looking to go to Castaway, it is a little tucked away but go towards the Aston Maui Kaanapali Villa pool and it is just behind the pool area!
This was a great experience all around. We got to seat ourselves and everything was very laid back. While we were waiting for our food, there was a convenient shuffle board game to the side where there was shade and a great view of the beach. Ordered the Caesar salad and was not disappointed at all! Definitely recommend this cafe!
Paradise Pancakes. Tasty pancakes with generous bananas, pineapple, macadamia nuts. Coconut and maple syrup. Short stack is plenty.
A little hard to find the restaurant, but well worth the hunt…..food was great, especially the BBQ baby back ribs…they were to die for….absolutely scrumptious. They only serve the ribs on Sunday night… Buddy was our waitress, and she was excellent.
BABY BACK RIBS are to die for. Only served on Sunday evening. Highly recommend. We definitely plan on at least one more meal while we’re here
A great place for breakfast. Get a nice cup of coffee, eggs, bacon, with nice service.
Hard to find but good view once you find it. Food is average and portions are less than expected for the price. Once you eat at Gazebos or Kihei Cafe then everything else seems to be average
