Initially placed me and my partner on an awkward table for six inside the gazebo. Very loud due to boisterous tables of 8 plus. Cocktails were delicious and outside ambience was lovely. Food was nothing to brag about
Good food and a great view. Surfing host flatbread and mangorita were both delicious. Friend had the Caesar salad with chicken, only concern was she found a bone in it, did not ruin the rest of the experience.
Service was amazing! Delicious food and the Lime in Da Coconut drink was perfection! Great ambiance for late evening dining. Not sure if it’s every night, but they had a local band who played some great renditions of popular songs.
The food was good. Our server was not very attentive to us. We also had unusual things happen which were never apologized for or addressed by the staff (fingernail in a glass of water and hair in the fish and chips sauce).
Gorgeous view. My swordfish-type fish and Ono were outstanding! Mahi Mahi was incredible. Shrimp pasta was very tasty. Kid’s Caesar was a hit, too. Flourless chocolate cake was devoured. Great meal!
Hula grill is a place to try the fish taco. It’s also known for there salads and the chicken wings are a must try too. Really enjoyed the meal with my family at this restaurant. They also have great selections of beer
Tried the A’u (swordfish) – amazing! Paired with the cream herb sauce …. it is superb! Coleslaw on the side and it makes a great meal. Been on Maui for close to three weeks and finally found an amber ale – Lavaman Red Ale. Would like to give this a 4.75 out of 5, as we had a mixup on the order (shift change in kitchen), but was rectified …. food was great! Live music created a great ambiance.Meal was finished off with the Hula Pie – which is a must. Make sure to save some room for it though.
