We were really excited to try this place out. Only waited about 10 minutes on a Sunday morning. Greeted quickly and with a friendly Aloha. Husband ordered the special of the day. Coconut, macnut, pineapple with a Lelio cream. Delish!! I ordered the gluten free Blueberry Lemon Tart cakes. I know GF is tough to pull off at times but I expected more from a restaurant that specializes in pancakes to have a foolproof recipe. The cakes were rubbery, flat and tasteless. The blueberries and lemon curd helped but only enough to finish half my plate. We also order a side of candied bacon. Again, very scrumptious! The coffee was also a great accompaniment to the meal and the service was excellent.
The food and service were great, we tried the banana bread French toast and the country fried steak. Both were awesome and there were other items we wanted to try, so maybe we will go again while we are here! Cool vibe, highly recommended!
This place is super fun for kids. You get to make your own pancakes out of a squeeze bottle at your table. The kids tried the buttermilk and chocolate batters with fresh blueberries and 100% maple syrup. Our server was sweet but was quite slow with the initial greeting and taking our order. There was a male server in a different section we wished we got because he was so charismatic and energetic with his diners! Regardless, we will be back so the kids can have fun making their own pancakes again!
Thursday morning and very busy. Sat at the bar and was served right away. Ordered Slappy Moco Mushroom gravy was great. Eggs cooked over easy. I wondered why they asked how i preferred the burger. A real burger patty, not a Costco pre pressed lump.
Really fun! Two of our group made our own pancakes and two ordered off the menu! The food is of course awesome, but the real draw of this restaurant is letting your creativity run wild… Everyone gets a good view and is within reach of the pan which makes it easy and fun! Got there at about 8 am and waited 20 minutes (maybe less) which is pretty great considering it’s such a highly rated place! Would totally come again if I had the chance!
Great and delicious restaurant. The Hawaiian pancakes was amazing! The loco Moco was delicious and filing. Clean restaurant, close to the resort and great service.
One of the best breakfast places I have ever been to. The whole family loved it. This unique breakfast place with do it your self pancakes and great big Hawaiian plates has something for everyone. The menu grabbed my attention with its delicious pancakes to its unorthodox chicken fried bacon! I ordered the Hawaiian pancakes and Ahi Eggs Benedict. Absolutely mouth watering. Hawaiian pancakes were stuffed with macadamia nuts and topped with pineapples and coconut syrup drizzled all over them. Usually not a fan of Eggs Benedict but I love ahi tuna. The unusual combo was absolutely delicious with a soft poached egg. Only problem I found was the seasoning on the seared ahi was a too salty. This is a must go to place in Maui.
