Tried Umalu twice during the week we were staying at the Hyatt, and I was a little dissapointed. On both occasions the food was ok, but not great. Customer service here compared to the other restaurants at the Hyatt is quite poor. During our dinner on the second night, someone had vomitted in the middle of the dining area, people were slipping in it, and staff were in no rush to clean it up. They eventually put two seats Infront of the spill, and it stayed like that for quite some time. Quite frankly that’s not good enough and very poor. Unless you are ordering pool side cocktails, I’d recommend dining elsewhere.

Great good, views and service. We ate hear for 5 nights of our stay. THe mai tais were awesome, the food great, the service wonderful and friendly, but best of all the view was incredible at sunset.
Horrible service – waited 15 mins for a waiter and eventually had to ask the hostess to take our order. Watered down drinks. Limited menu choices. Food took ages to get to us and wasn’t worth the wait.
