The hubby became a fan for poke after eating here. He got ahi, dynamite which was made of avocado and California roll poke. We loved the rice and the seasoning on top. Cute little place to have poke!

Amazing poke variety. The lineup was out the door but moved fast. Ordered 2 plates, came with 4 types of poke, 2 salads and 2 scoops of rice. Tried Dynamite, Shack, Shoyu, Garlic sesame pokes, edame & California roll salads. The flavors were fresh and gorgeous. The perfect food to take to the beach!

I came here the day I landed in Hawaii and wound up never coming back. I was craving poke and my personal favorite (Suisan) was nowhere near the side of the island I’d arrived on (KOA instead of ITO). I’d read some good reviews and figured that this place was worth trying, but I don’t think anyone else should make that choice. My mom and I decided on the poke plate, but unfortunately our timing was a bit off so most of their items were sold out. They only had 5 kinds of poke left and no brown rice, oh well. The plate comes with two scoops of rice, two sides, and four portions of poke (I’m not 100% on this though). I can’t remember what we got exactly, but I’m pretty sure it was three kinds of ahi poke (two of one kinds), white rice, wakame salad, and an edamame salad. Nothing really stands out to me on the flavor front, which is why I don’t think Da Poke Shack is worth it. The flavor should hit me in the face and so should the freshness. The quality of the fish seemed average at best to me.Even the Yelp! dollar discount did nothing to ache the burning sensation in my wallet after paying almost $25 for the poke plate. Go to Suisan and you can get twice the fish for that cost. Come here if you’re a tourist on a time-crunch and you want to say you’ve tried poke. If that’s not you go elsewhere.
