You’d think L&L in Hawaii would be better than L&L elsewhere and it’s true. The cabbage is a welcome addition to the kahlua pork and is cut into pieces large enough so they aren’t lost in the meat while also having the chance to soak up the smoky, salty flavors. This location of L&L is better than many luaus I have attended. The one disappointment is there are no Hawaiian desserts on the menu! Where’s the haupia??
