Stopped in for a quick eat with the son before he went to work. Clams and soup bread bowl, both were quite delicious as we shared eat others dishes. Interior feels run down and If they renovated they could probably raise their prices. We didn’t have time for dessert which is a shame as it looks like they are experts in that department! We will have to return and try one of the many items they had in the display case.
Disappointing Experience. I had a very disappointing first time with Cafe Laufer. Service to get seated was disorganized and confusing. I did not feel welcomed at their restaurant… I traveled far, over 1hour to get to location only to have a terrible experience. I complained passionately to the owner, as no one was serving me, not even a glass of water. . I was treated to chicken parmesan with pasta entree by owner to make up for the terrible experience. Food was mediocre , something I could make better at home. I do not recommend this eatery. It is overrated,unfriendly and terrible service. I should have walked out.
