A strange concept of a restaurant above a clothing shop. But my friend bought a shirt for a gift and was given a free dessert coupon. So we decided to try it out for dinner. Risky yes, but with big risk comes a big reward. So did this one. I had the crab and avocado salad and my friend had the salmon. They were delish! We also had cocktails, which let me tell you they were not stingy with the alcohol. For dessert we have been aiming for the pineapple creme brle. That was so smooth and creamy and on the bottom you get to scoop out fresh sweet pineapples. If you are in town for dinner, you must try this restaurant. Get over the fact that its run by a clothing shop, because the food is absolutely amazing.
Great rooftop restaurants to get drinks and food. I enjoyed their Guac and chips. The chips had a little spice to it which tasted good. Also enjoyed their sangria. The only thing is that the menu is on the pricier side since it’s in the heart of Waikiki.
Tommy Bahama definitely did not disappoint. I have eaten at the location in Destin, Florida. This was my first time at the location in Honolulu. The crab bisque is amazing ( You have to have the bowl and not the cup) and the crab avocado salad is a dish I could honestly eat everyday. One of my favorite restaurants!!
In Hawaii at peak times you need a booking or arrive very early. My son and I arrived at 1130am for lunch and got the prime table. Dining above a retail clothing shop is not normally what we do but it was surprisingly good. Kids menu was well crafted. Steak and fruit. My Burger was good. The Sicilian orange margarita even better at 1130am. Worth a try.
