This place was recommended to us as a place to buy drinks made with real sugar cane, not just cane sugar. Maybe we’re just stupid mainlanders, but after my grandson has been obsessed with sugar cane and the process of making sugar, we thought this might be part of the adventure. As it turns out, their drinks are made with raw sugar from a restaurant supply. They are super pricey, up to $13 for a smoothie. We then checked the least expensive alternative, which was $7. For a single scoop gelato. What is this place? It’s on a corner in an industrial park, there are no customers at 5 pm. The people that work there are rude, the place is dirty, and there were a lot of people lounging around the kitchen. They served something called a raw chocolate pie that was gluten free. Still couldn’t figure out if it was ice cream or a pie. Don’t trust what the other reviewers have said about this place. Trust your own eyes if you walk in and like adventure.

Amazing dishes. Absolutely fantastic dishes. You can really tell these people have a love for good fresh food. The made from scratch, organic, gluten and dairy free dishes are amazing. We had the pad Thai which was one of the best I’ve ever had. And the special of fresh caught mahi mahi in a mango coconut Thai curry. That dish was beyond expectations. Absolutely amazing flavour. The only disappointment to the dinner was that we ate way too much and did not have room to try their dairy free gelato.

Eat Here.. I eat here so frequently that I’ve had the opportunity to eat basically every dish on the menu. I’ve also attended one of the cooking classes. What sets this restaurant apart it that they make all their sauces from scratch, often incorporating 10-15 herbs and spices per recipe. When possible, the ingredients are grown on Howie Simon’s farm, the proprietor of the cafe. Everything on the menu is organic, and local when possible. Also, they just started making raw/organic pies. Try them. After eating hear so frequently, I can honestly say I feel better in body and spirit.
Going with a gluten free, a vegan, a vegetarian, and a meat lover, we were all overly satisfiedwith the food, atmosphere, and staff.. we will go back every time we visit the island…..absolutely amazing!!
