Good local Hawaiian food, and very handy to airport. Loco moco had all the components right, and assembled to please the palate and belly. Saimin included Spam, and much enjoyed by my daughter. Shoyu chicken super tender and flavorful. One of the best meals we had on the island for the type of food that it is…and definitely the best value!

The menu is big in choices and size, as it on the wall and written with markers. It’s daunting to a first time diner. I made a choice for hamburger steak as it was familiar to me. I wasn’t disappointed. However, I will be more adventurous next time. My guess would be that it’s mainly a lunch spot since it is in the middle of nowhere and frequented by working types. The room is large and sunny and can be noisy.

Bare bones cafe. Order at and pick up at the counter. Good, hearty fare at reasonable prices. The menu is broad but it’s best to stick to local ‘grinds’ like loco moco, fried rice, etc. You might be disappointed in other things.

Boneless Kalbi(Beed Short Ribs). Tastes good and lots of it on the plate

Best chicken ever! Crispy spicy garlic chicken, Asian flare, with the sweet soy and spicy mayo sauce, it was very good

Eat where the locals eat. Great food. Check it out.

I really thought this was going to be a great place. Huge menu selection. The food wasn’t especially good. My Philly cheese sandwich was the driest I’ve ever eaten anywhere. The other two people in my party didn’t love their meals either. My advice would be to cut the menu selection down and do what’s left really, really well.
