Best Shanghai Cuisine. Tour buses full of Shanghai visitors stop here so they can get a little taste of home; sort of like locals going to the California in Vegas for saimin! Of course they have the usual local favorites, but you gotta try their specialities: Shanghai soup-filled dim sum (xiao long bao) like the best we had on our last trip; lamb stew with incredible Chinese herbs & spices; cold snow peas and mushroom salad; and their fantastic braised ham hock (nothing consistency like it since that German restaurant closed in Hawaii Kai-but call ahead to make sure they’re not sold out). They also feature stuff that the Bizzare Foods guy would like if you’re adventurous!
