Best seafood place on island. My husband started to work in town.. So he told me about this place the first plate i ever ate from there. Was Nori wrapped crabmeat stuffed ahi.. Now has turned into my favorite.The crabmeat and ahi is fresh and the plates are good size. Best part healthy and none of there food has extra oil that I don’t like from some places you eat. This week ate there three days in a row. My husband is going to stop there today.

The crab stuffed ahi nplate with waimanalo greens in the signature plate, the poke is always fresh and taste ono, the staff is freindly and now i heard the open on sundays, i am from maui and i used to go to tanioka’s but if you can’t make it to tanioka’s then monarch seafood must be your next stop you will not be dissapointed aloha from keokea,maui
Good Stuff. I love their plates, not just the seafood although the seafood plates are awesome. The mochiko chicken is terrific. But unless you’ve got 20 min- half hour to waste, I strongly recommend ordering ahead. The food tastes so much better when you’re not grumpy from having to wait so long for 4 bentos.
Best seafood / local plate luch place in kalihi. Just be prepared to wait a long long long time if you don’t call on your order. Worth tje wait though.
