Soooo bad!!!. I was referred to Pancakes & Waffles by a friend for the Eggs Benedict, but clearly my friend has absolutely no taste in good breakfast food. This place was surprisingly busy, but everything about this restaurant was fail. The waffles were overcooked, dry, and had no extra-special qualities at all–honestly, they tasted very similar to Eggo’s, and I’m wondering if that’s where they order from. Eggs Benedict was not cooked to order like I asked, and even if it had been, the whole get up was woefully disappointing. A friend also tried the crepes, and they were soggy (I’ve never seen soggy crepes before???) and the blueberries that they came with were the most bitter fruit I have ever tasted!! Needless to say, this was the worst breakfast place I have ever been to.
