Not the best experience. We came in a little before closing (20min), and were not greeted very well. A little run down, our table kept tilting back and forth (outside patio). Large selection. The rest of my party was not impressed with the food. I ordered one of their seafood mung bean noodle dishes. It was okay. Seafood was fresh. Food came out quickly. I wanted to like it, but can’t. I felt bad coming in late, but that’s no excuse for rudeness.
Was a little weary when we walked in, but the noodle dishes were wonderful. The service wasn’t great, they ignored us most of the time.
The young girls were still waiting on folks. They got one order wrong and sent it back. My sweet and sour noodles were good. They don’t do good on non-noodle foods. Fry grease was old. Pork tasted warmed over. Place seems dirty/greasy. But if you come for the noodles, you won’t be disappointed. Owners wife is Thai.
Best strong & tasty Mai Tais on the island!! Ask for Ron to make!! He’s about 70 & the Mai Tai maker!!
House of Noodles. Great service and real Thai food! They even have a full bar that is open for all legal hours of the day! Whoopee!
This is where we go for Asian. While it would be just average for most places, this is about as good as it gets for an asian, downscale restaurant on Kauai.Prices are reasonable, location and atmosphere good enough, and lots of food selections. Much more than just Noodles.I really like the spicy glass noodles.
Family run establishment. During my dinning experience, the younger daughters were tending the customers, friendly, but looked as they were still under 15 years old. I had the saimin special, which looked as though they used yesterday leftovers to garnish the saimin. The broth was just right. Otherwise, not somewhere I would drive 45 minutes to eat at.
