  • Coffee was great, and so was the breakfast. Fast service and the food was all pretty fresh. The one downfall is that the girl told me they get the bag…

  • Great bagel and cream cheese with pesto and tomato. Nice sitting area out front. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Would recommend for coffee …

  • Excellent coffee and the coconut biscotti was amazing! Cute atmosphere and fun bench seating outside. You can see the roasting in the back too…

The best spot in town for coffee and breakfast! Right on the strip of old town Kapaa. I highly recommend the iced Thai coffee and a Dilly Egg Sandwich! So amazing 🙂

Quick efficient service. Excellent coffee! There selection is pretty vast and the barista was knowledgable. The food is definitely above average but perhaps a bit pricey. Nevertheless Java Kai makes hitting the East shore a fun, caffeinated experience!

Yummy sandwiches. Nice place with good coffee. we had a ham panini and Turkey hummus sandwich, both good and fresh. pastries looked good maybe we’ll try those next time!

🙂 best breakfast in Kapaa. Awesome healthy breakfasts and great coffee. So good my husband and I came back the second day for round two. I had the surfer girl sandwich on day two and it was my favorite. Saw the belgian waffle….it looked to die for and I wanted to try it so bad but my figure was screaming NO :(. Super fresh, cool vibe and pretty fast service. We also grabbed a few snacks (aloha bar and autumn bar) as a treat on our hike later that day. They were amazing! Only downfall is this place is popular so be ready for a line and limited seating (which is never really a bad thing).

Jovial Java. Good natured staff. Loved my frozen coffee drink and breakfast burrito. My husband’s smoothie was tart and flavorful. Wish we would have tried their lunch menu while in town too.

Steep prices but a delicious way to start the day!

Great coffee and pastry. My husband and I got coffee here three times during our stay in Kauai. I loved the fact that I could get Soy milk in latte and my husband really liked the cinnamon bun he got there. A definate reccommend
