Great food at reasonsble prices!
We found this place by accident and i’m so glad we did! The atmosphere was very relaxed but not to the point where I feel like we are being ignored. The food was a few more dollars per plate than we wanted to spend but it was great quality and worth the price. The best part was the dollar bills covering most of the walls!! Ask for the cup of Sharpies and leave your mark! There has to be hundreds already there and there’s no real sorry behind them, either. Just a thing that happened.
Horrible service. You wait twice as long as your average restaurant for anything. Food when it came was luke warm and burnt. A winning combination.
I would never eat here again. The service was terrible, and my cup had lip prints from a previous user clearly visible near the top. Our sandwiches were actually pretty good, but the French fries were beyond stale. No thanks.
Really enjoy this place.. We make a point of stopping here every time we come to Hawaii (which is often). Good food. Good service. Really enjoy this authentic taste of Hawaii.
I would never visit this resteraunt again. My wife got raw rice and being filipino that ruined her day. My mai mai fish and chips were awful. The fish was soggy and the batter was dark. The only good thing was the beer that they did not make.
The second visit. So the second time we came by this place, it was totally planned…the first time was grand. So I expected good food and was blown away a second time…this time I sampled the vodka penne. I can’t stress enough that this place outdoes itself when it comes to menu items. Definitely come by if you are looking for good eats, you won’t be disappointed…great atmosphere too. Two thumbs up!21 Mar, 2012Worth checking out. We were hungry and decided to check out this place since we had slowly driven by it on the way to the beach. Laid back atmosphere, friendly people, and money on the walls! Expected bar food, but was absolutely blown away when the teriyaki Mahi came out. Served over rice and colorful vegetables, this fish was topped with a garlic and pineapple salsa and sweet teriyaki sauce. I have to figure out how to upload pics from my phone, since the presentation of this dish was truly outstanding. On a site note, they also make killer Mai Tais and have a full selection of spirits. Dressing down in board shorts and tanks is the way to visit… I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will more than likely go back to taste the Ahi tuna that I have heard about. Thumbs up for this local joint!
