Walked about 20 mins from the Moana here for breakfast after reading reviews… I don’t think it was amazing or worth the long walk. I had an omelette, it was ok but the breakfasts in USA don’t come close to Australian breakfasts, have not found one place in all my visits that you can compare to. Disappointed with eggs every time. My husband had the acai bowl and really liked it but didn’t like the green smoothie. Coffee was better than other places in US.
Looking for good Espresso coffee in Waikiki?. I find good Espresso coffee a bit of a rarity in the States but still I try and find a descent one wherever I travel. These guys do a good job, at $4.05 I was a bit put off by the price until I saw the size of the cup!Food was nice too. We were there right on on lunch so tried the grilled chicken sandwich. Bread was fresh, chicken was hot and salad filling was tasty so ticked all boxes. I think Bogarts are better known for thier breakfasts from other reviews and looking at what others were ordering (fruit salads, pancakes). We’ll definitely be heading back a bit earlier next time!
This place is really cool and trendy. If your from Australia and want a real coffee come to this place just like a cafe in Melbourne I like it a lot and good food as well….oh and get in early was in at 7 am on a Saturday morning and full got the last table.
Over rated!!. Overpriced, overhyped. and completely over rated. the food was mediocre at best. Worst part is that there are no bathrooms. (have fun walking 15min to the park). Ordered a local scramble which didnt come with any toast or sides. toast was an extra $2.20 for 2 slices. Peanut butter was also extra! can you say nickel and dime? no refills on coffee either!! so much for a relaxing and nice breakfast! it was spent going back and forth to the bathroom to wash hands and to go to use the bathroom!! $2.20 for toast? i can buy a loaf for that. omelete was meh! couple slices of sausage, and couple pieces of potato. some cheddar cheese on top. nothing AMAZING, like everyone keeps saying
They messed up my order and when I confronted the waiter, they wanted more money! I waited 20 minutes for a simple omellet, paid for it, and got nothing.
By far the best place to grab breakfast on the island. Friendly staff and fresh fish, make it a daily stop while you are in town.
Great stop. Love the acai bowl.
