I wouldn’t come here for the food or anything for that matter. The food took ages to come and The American breakfast below was cold and unappetising – weirdest looking scrambled egg ever. The other dish is crab cake sandwich. Don’t eat the crab cakes.. It tastes sour.
At the end of our hawaiian holiday, encouraged by other tourists reviews we decided to have a breakfast at Bogarts. Even at 9 AM this place is so crowded! Unbelievable. We were standing in the line for 45 mins at least. It was worth, I need to admit afterwards and now I realize why so many locals prefer to start their day here. Breakfast bagel is great, banana-peanut butter shake even better (skip the cream, my advice, it’s pure sweetness anyway). Omelette with crab meat and avocado is outstanding, as well as bagel with spinach. Being greedy we ordered belgian waffel with cream and peanut butter, it was good to share it in a group of three, having in mind we won’t be back here soon. Coffee is tasty as well.
Reading the previous review we thought we would get a decent coffee here. We are from Australia & were looking for something other than theStarbucks variety! The coffee came in a huge mug & was very weak we sent it back to receive another one of the same. I will say it was creamy, but as far as tasting the coffee it was pretty insipid.
