Ryuji-san is Amazing. My family just came back from a second omakase experience with Ryuji-san, and everything we received was stellar. Our lovely aunt shared this place with us last year, and celebrated her return visit with a dinner here earlier this evening. The sushi arrived beautifully presented, and the combinations of textures, temperatures and flavors we enjoyed kept us talking all the way home.
I am the former executive sushi chef for roys and I used to go tokkuri tei all the time since they moved location everything went down hill. My parents and I ordered sushi and it looked as if an inexperienced little kid made it for us. Sorry Imanas tei and akinono totally kills it u really went down hill tokkuri tei.
Fabulous interesting delicious adventurous Japanese food. We loved it. Tapas, Japanese style. Ask for help with ordering from the friendly servers. We went here 3 of our 4 nights on Oahu!!
Eater. Many sakes, many menu items, tried as many as we could, almost all were very good.
