Dining plus great Sunsets. Dining at Hawaii Calls Restaurant & Lounge,The Marriott, Kona. Great spot – the special was a US$22 Lobster from Maine but apparently they finished growing them at a farm as Keahole, Kona Lobsters. Brilliantly priced but the quality was that good I would have paid around $60 or up. To top it off the Banana Cream Pie was ‘to die for’ – Gilligan & the Skipper would have fought over it !!Overall, service was fine but the food was outstanding for the price. You have to love America dining

Pretty good hotel restaurant. Everyday there is some kind of special. Monday night was half price entrees so we had dinner here. With the discount dinner was a good deal. I don’t think I would have are here on a regular price day.

There are so many good restaurants on the island, there’s no excuse to eat here. Bland phone-it-in hotel food at exorbitant prices. Really inexcusable.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic for the 1st week but the last day it wasn’t even continental level. The food was good but extremely overpriced! 21.95$ for Buffett/person!! But eggs Benedict was delicious & included in your buffet.

We stayed in the hotel and dined here our first night. It was a Friday so the buffet was prime rib/crab plus a few other items. The prime rib was very good. The crab was good. The other items were ok. Nothing special The desserts were very good. Was it worth it? It’s hard to say. Given our circumstances, I’d probably do it again. I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Way over priced, average quality. Any place that charges $16.0 for a below average mai tai is at the bottom of my list. When I saw it on the menu I thought it must be some kind of special, wow were we wrong! The food was just so-so and nothing special for the above average cost. Since we stayed here, we were able to check out the service many times but only did dinner here once. Service is a bit hit and miss. Some of the staff seem very enthusiastic, some are downright uninterested in providing good service.

Decent. This place is decent, but so expensive! I guess its to be expected from a restaurant in the Marriott. It was a nice selection of buffet food and quality service. Worth the $23 for breakfast outside on a beautiful Kona day.
