I had the kalua pork sandwich and it was amazing! My fellow table mates both enjoyed their pizza, and we may go back before we leave. The service wasn’t great, but not horrible either.
Not the best pizza I ever had. It took 15 minutes longer than expected, they told us the pizza oven was broken, but then brought the pizza to us 2 minuted later. But, I guess if you are drinking, who cares about the quality of the food.
First time in Hawaii and I was looking for a place locals as well as tourists liked and I found this place! The Eacargot was very good as well as the Panko fried Jalapeo but a lil on the spicy side be careful. My favorite was the Wake and Bacon Pizza! If you like fried eggs on a burger this is similar, fried egg on a pizza!! It’s adventurous but so worth it! Would totally recommend coming here!
Best draft beer selection on the island. We enjoyed, BIB golden Sabbath, rogue hazelnut brown ale***, and mission holiday Belgium dark ale. Sports bar atmosphere with multiple tv’s for any sport viewing. Kid friendly with bar style shuffle board. Formerly the Waikola Bar and Grill.
Out of wings, burgers were small and dry and out of pickles as well. Disappointed all the way around. Worst meal in HI for sure.
Great beer and service! Have the fish tacos ( be ready for spicy). Pizza looked good and Chiken was good. This is a do again!
Half empty. We selected this restaurant because we are lovers of beer and they had a great taplist. Unfortunately when we arrived that was the only thing that was great. I would add that the waitress was good too; she did her best to minimize the faults described in this review. Our dining experience started by us finding out after being seated that they were out of half of what was on their menu at 7 in the evening ( pizza — they were out of pizza dough). Another large portion of their menu features fish as you would expect in Hawaii however they were out of the fish tacos as well.I did order the fish and chips and when they arrived 50 minutes later they were good not great. I was dining with 6 others and the entrees came out two at a time like the animals onto Noah’s ark. Each two were separated by 20 minute time frame. The first two entrees came out 50 minutes after we placed our order the next two one hour and ten minutes and the final two entrees a full hour and a half after the order. I felt really bad for the waitress as she tried to do all she could to ease the tension. To top off the whole experience when we got our appetizer after our first two entrees the manager came to us with a some lame excuse about their procedure in sending the food out when it is ready and they don’t stage their appetizers different than their appetizers. At no point offered even anything remotely resembling an apology for the shortage of menu items, being served two entrees at a time over an hour period or the slowness overall of the service. This was the worst dining experience I have had in my adult life. The food was okay but the experience as described above was horrible. Next time I want a good beer in this locale I will go to the grocery store.
