Wow! The view and the food are excellent. Worth the price any day. Mai tai’s are great too. Try to sit outside and watch the sun go down with a cocktail in hand. The best.

Breakfast and Service – Not good!. We went for breakfast to Sea House after reading some reviews, and we were staying nearby at the Ritz so walked there to try it. The service was terrible, the wait staff barely said a word besides ‘aloha’ on arrival. I ordered the Bird of Paradise breakfast and it was served missing both the Papaya and the Muffin. When I asked where the Muffin was, they took 10 mins to find out then said ‘oh sorry the kitchen is still making them, they won’t be ready’ – that’s not my problem! Get the kitchen to bake them early enough to serve guests, or tell me when you serve my meal, don’t just serve a breakfast with 2 things missing and say nothing hoping I won’t notice! Then they still charge me full price on the bill. That is just ridiculous and appalling service. It was that, plus the terrible unfriendly service, and the greasy omelette my partner had – it just was not a good start to the day! I would suggest going elsewhere for breakfast.

First Time, Certainly Not the Last.. First time at this restaurant after coming to Maui for 18 years. Very pleasantly surprised and will be back. All appetizers and entrees were superb, although if you order the Pena Pasta dish, ask for the sweet sauce on the side. It’s over-powering and not to everyone’s tastes.

Okay food and a wonderful view. We ate here before going to the Slack Key Show and it was okay. We got the early bird special which had several choices for a reasonable price. Wait staff was attentive, food was attractively plated, and quality was okay. With all the choices on Maui I’m not sure we’d go back, but it was certainly decent for what we needed, and the setting is lovely. If you are in the area on Wednesday or Thursday, be sure to take in the Slack Key show just a few hundred yards away. Truly authentic Hawaiian music performed by masters of the genre in a very relaxed and fun setting.

Fantastic happy hour from 2-5; drink specials and appetizers. Try the Maui beach balls. Restaurant is on the water with a great view.

My husband and I can see why The SeaHouse is popular. The restaurant is right on the beach, great view and also their Pupu Happy Hour (2-5pm). We discovered this gem last year when we were staying around the Napili area. Since we re back in Maui again and staying close by, why not venture off to our little gem. I don’t know if my expectations were not met or it’s the victim of it’s own success. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great place for the pupus at that great deal but for some reason, the cocktail drinks didn’t meet my expectations this time round. I ordered a Mai Tai and it was really bad and murky. I drank it because I thought it was the bartender’s twist on mixing drinks. One thing I did notice was that many patrons were having either wine or beer. That should have been the warning signs. To end out meal, we paid by credit card and the server just dropped the folder down and took off. The bill was there but no credit card. After awhile, we flagged someone down and they went looking for my husbands card. They had it in a different folder and hopefully nothing else was charged on his card. Anyways, we would still go back and be cautious with what we order. The tempura artichoke is yum!!!

Everything but the kitchen sink fried rice for breakfast is awesome and filling. Good fresh fruit as well.
