Kahumana is about 1.5 miles off the highway in an off-beat part of Makaha. The food and hometown casual atmospher is worth the drive. My wife and I had the special of the day, fresh Opha with brown rice, just perfect. We enjoyed fresh green salad, and the soup of the day. Both from the pm-site garden. Just perfect! Enjoy

This place is amazing. Farm fresh, organic, yummy! We ordered the caprese which was melt in your mouth, we also ordered the pesto pasta and the vegetarian lasagna, both were delicious! We are so glad we found this place and will definitely go back. Also, feel free to take your own bottle of wine with you!

Amazing Find. Found this place looking for organic eats on the island and what a find ! Where else are you encouraged to walk the farm where your food is raised ! Meals are tasty, inexpensive and their profits go to sustain the farm and to help with displaced Hawaiin families, reeducation etc. It is an eclectic atmosphere, out of the way and we approached with some trepidation . No need. Great people, great fun. The dining area feels like summer camp , the cafe is situated in the midle of the farm/retreat. Meal was delicious. Vegatarian or not , there is something there for both. We tipped heavily because all the money goes to the causes they support. I highly recommend you try this place out, you will go back.

Kahumana is fabulous! Fresh! Delicious, creative, real food. Thank heavens we found it! I am vegetarian and was thrilled with the fresh produce and multitude of options. My good ole uncle Ed was hesitant to come, he prefers all manner of meaty chunk and I have to say even tio Eduardo was ecstatic about this place. If you find yourself in Waianae, or are up for an adventure, do yourself a favor and eat here. Yum, Yum, Yum. You can also bring wine which is nice.

Awesome and my tastebuds were happy and belly too. I loved this place. Organic, natural, delicious. From your table you can see the field and the waianae mountains. Although it is kind of far, it is worthy the drive from Honolulu area. A must try is the Lilikoi Cheesecake, mmmmm. Prices are reasonable and because they are a self sustain farm and I was happy overall I tipped them very well
