Not the best but not the worst burger I’ve ever had. Ordered the Bacon Bleu, and I couldn’t taste the bacon. I was halfway through my burger before I remembered there was supposed to bacon on it. Checked and confirmed it was on there, and enough that I should taste it, but didn’t. The patty itself lacked flavor and wasn’t as juicy as I prefer. Tried the purple potato salad and didn’t care for it; it was too sweet and not creamy enough for my liking. I give them kudos for their concoctions (look at menu to see) and friendly staff.
The grass-fed local beef with local bacon was expertly grilled combined to become the Blue Cheese Bacon burger which was the absolute best burger I’ve ever eaten. I had excellent service and drank a delicious coconut porter from Kona Brewing Company.
Voted best burger in Hawaii in 2014 and I can see why. Juicy grass feed burgers, organic produce, yum! Burgers are 1/2 lb so come hungry! Offers gluten free buns!
