Simply The Best. Coming from a foodie that has tried most of the finest cuisine that the Big Island has to offer, this place is a gem. More accurately, in my opinion it’s the best food you will find on the island. The menu is small but eclectic; anything from pizza, to curry, to shrimp linguine. There are specials daily and I’ve yet to see the same special twice in the five times i’ve visited. Every single dish is made from scratch with local, organic ingredients and every dish has exceeded my expectations without fail. When you visit note the head chef. She is one of only two people in the kitchen and is an absolute Magician. Absolutely a must try.

Very accommodating. We were traveling down from Kona to Kilauea, and had planned to eat at Up Country down the road. When we found that place to be closed, we went back up, hoping to go to Nasturtium, which was also closed. Luckily Strawberry Patch was right next door. The reason we had planned to go to Up Country in the first place was for its gluten free main meal options for lunch. Unfortunately, Strawberry Patch didn’t have much in that direction. However, the chef offered to make me something that wasn’t on the menu, and wasn’t even like anything on it. She essentially cobbled together what she had there to make me a meal.

Wife and I stopped for the papa pizza and Picasso panini then finished it off with apple walnut torte with ice cream. Absolutely one of the best meals on the big island!

Very good..inventive fresh sheet menu with reasonable prices. I had a shrimp and pineapple quesadilla and my husband had a butternut and shrimp lasagna. Yummy! The lilikoi lemonade is delicious!

Awesome food! We had an appetizer special of shrimp, wasabi creme cheese and flat bread. For entrees we had shrimp fettucine with shrimp and smoked salmon, also the Papas pizza. The apple torte with caramel was good too. We brought our almost 2 year old son and they brought out the high chair and were totally accommodating.

A MUST!. I went to dinner here last week with my friends and loved it! I am visiting form Colorado and was looking for places to eat when we stumbled across this treasure! Reminds me of a place we used to eat at when I was a kid. Comfy, warm staff and the food is unbelievable. I loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful place. This is the newest find in Kona. Their food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is fun, comfortable and friendly. I took my family and had the best time. One of the best restaurants in Kona right now in my opinion.
