Don’t expect good food here!. Antonio’s reviews seemed good so we decided to take a chance on this place just one week ago. What an enormous disappointment!!! Our family of 6 came in and were served water that tasted like bleach so we asked to have our glasses taken away. Then came the bruschetta appetizer – tasty but mighty expensive for the 5 pieces they brought us. Our main courses were horrible! While I appreciate that they sold me a half portion of chicken fettucine for my little boy, the Alfredo sauce tasted like wallpaper paste and there was only one tiny sliver of chicken in it. No amount of additional grated parmesan was able to save it. My chicken pasta in dill sauce tasted like something they have a lot of in Hawaii – SAND. No flavour, gritty and a ridiculously small portion. The only saving grace to this meal was the chicken parmesan. Two of my teenagers ordered it and they loved the chicken, a huge portion … although the accompanying spaghetti with tomato sauce was practically inedible. The lasagna was cold in the middle and very peppery, so much so that it was impossible to taste anything else. After spending far too much money for very bad food at Antonio’s, we ended up going to Fat Boy Burgers for supper. Do yourself a favour – go somewhere else!
Rude. Do not go here please The hostess for this restaurant was so rude we did not even go in the door. We’re not just talking island-rude, we’re talking stupid-rude. We are middle-aged professionals and were treated like school children. Do not go here since it ruined our evening and sent us away feeling very, very bad.
One Good Waitress. Unfortunately, when we arrived we did not get the good waitress. Seedy location. Decent wine selection. Oso Buco was good but overpriced. The ravioli was not to write to home about. The waitress that we did not get saved the tipshare for the one we got. Not on the recommendation list for me.
It was a carnival ride and the food is mediocre at best. Service is enthusiastic.
Look past the location – the food is excellent.
