We are here several times during our stay at the grand wailea. I wasn’t expecting much from a pool restaurant and from the prior reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. We tried pretty much everything on the menu and all was delicious. The night server (sorry didn’t catch his name) was awesome. The beet and goat cheese salad was exceptional!

Ew. Terrible menu. Food was bad. The server forgot about us when they were super slow even. The worst meal by far on Maui.
No complaints. Having somewhat high expectations as this is the Grand Wailea, I left feeling underwhelmed. There was nothing wrong with the food or service. The decor is a bit lacking, with the atmosphere of a poolside bar, which it was. It was fine but for some reason I expected so much more.
Our worst dining experience since coming to Maui. The resort looked very impressive, so we thought it would have a great place for lunch. Main resturant only does dinner. At the bistro 4 of the 5 meals turned up. Took 10mins or so to get the waiters attention, as he was avoiding eye contact, to find out where the 5th meal is. He said he was wondering the same thing, so he knew we were waiting. He came back saying that it wasn’t ready yet but will be up shortly. It finally turned up and we got to enjoy our cold lunches. The prices are high too, so I’d advise to avoid this place.
Love The Grand Wailia and Bistro Molokini!. We had a casual lunch here yesterday and enjoyed everything about our meal at The Grand Wailea, one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever seen! Quesadillas, Ahi Sandwich, Lettuce Wraps and Turkey Sandwiches were all fantastic, so was the Strawberry Rita I enjoyed with lunch before going down to the beach to relax. 🙂
Liked it so much we went for lunch and dinner in the same day! The Hawaiian Sea Bass was a rare menu option I especially liked!
