Great little local spot! Poke bowls are the best around. Fresh Ono fish and chips and grilled spicy Ahi fish taco great too. You will really enjoy this casual find. Great for take out as well.
Yum! Ahi tuna was so fresh! Also accommodating with those with food allergies. Staff seems a bit disinterested in customers, but it’s takeout. Food definitely worth the feeling that you get that you are a bit of an irritation.
What a great find! I had the Ono fish and chips and it was the best fish and chips I have ever had (and I’ve had had my share! ). My husband had the poke bowl and he said it was one of the best dishes he has ever eaten. Clean restaurant, fun ambiance, great/friendly/quick service, really reasonable prices, and fantastic food!
Like everywhere else in Maui in January, they were slammed but worth the wait. My husband said the seafood pasta was the best he’s ever had, my combo lunch plate was good, but my biggest regret is not getting the poke! It looked phenomenal!
Do not miss Eskimo Candy Seafood while in Maui! The poke is delicious. We can’t wait to try more seafood dishes here. We are going back on Monday!
Interesting restaurant and small market. The passion fruit fish tacos were delish!!! We will be back to try the poke. It is a counter / order pick up place but quite upscaleUpdate: Came back for the poke. OMG this is past excellent. If you like poke, this is the best!
Oh, if I could eat the fresh fish and seafood at Eskimo Candy everyday. The tuna poke was to die for. Although we came in right about closing and got the last fish on display, it was so good. Nicely marinated with a mild sweet and spicy sauce and topped with sesame and avocado, it was such a refreshing bowl of fresh fish. There’s other seafood available at Eskimo Candy as well and while it’s difficult not to just go choose a great bowl of poke, the fish and chips are a fried delight of fresh fish. Despite being cooked, it tasted like the mahi mahi used for the dish was fresh out of the water. It fell apart easily with each bite of flavorful fish.Honestly, if you need a simple, affordable meal in Kihei, try to stop by Eskimo Candy.
