To rushed could not enjoy the food our drinks .this was our first time at your place and I do not think I would come back .there was no time to enjoy the first plate before the main course came in and out in 35 min. Not good
Expensive for dinner but fantastic happy hour! Cheap drinks and good food for a very very good price. By far the most bang for your buck for happy hour. Service was fantastic too.
We had our wedding here and all our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was! And the cake was to die for too! Beautiful spot as well.
Fantastic Location!. Great ambience, good service, tasty food, small portions and expensive! $$$$$$. Did I say expensive?
My wife and I had dinner there last night. While the location and physical facility were as advertised, the service and presentation left us with the distinct impression that the kitchen and wait staff were in a hurry to get home. We ordered a bottle of wine and our meal at the same time. The wine and our first courses arrived together just a few minutes later, and our second courses arrived right on the heels of the first. Total elapsed time from sitting down to having our second course cleared was 35 minutes. I’ve spent longer over a meal at MacDonalds. It wasn’t like they were busy. As diners left the tables were reset for breakfast. My wife ordered one of their signature dishes, the crab lobster tomato tower (it’s on the cover of a magazine in our hotel room). Instead of a tower she got a mound of ingredients. I ordered Hawaiian butterfish on a bed of mashed potatoes topped with an asian flavored slaw. When the dish arrived the fish and potatoes were hot, but the slaw was ice cold. After letting it sit for a few minutes the slaw warmed up. That should have happened in the kitchen not at the table. For dessert I ordered the lemon curd trifle served in a martini glass. It’s a great dessert, but the glass was overfilled causing the lemon curd to run down the side and stem of the glass, and it was served without a service plate. So, it was good but messy. I have to say the food was all good, but the rushed service and careless presentation detracted from our experience. We were back in our car within an hour of arriving.
Hmm – NOT for happy hour!!. As a local and loving the old SeaWatch – we have tried Gannon’s a few times. Decor and view not to be beat, the lunch & breakfast very very good, BUT – don’t go for happy hour and expect to have a view. The outside tables are saved for customers who spend more money than us happy hour/puupuu people. This was made very clear to us by a waitress who said those exact words. NOT an hospitable welcome at all! I’d recommend Mulligans!!
Give it a try. We ate breakfast and lunch and hit happy hour here. The food was fantastic, service was great and the prices were well worth it. Not to mention the view was perfect. Service was fantastic and the portions were huge. Try the crab cake sliders at happy hour fantastic.
