Not my favorite. My husband and I went for lunch the other day and it wasn’t nearly as good as we’d remembered their taco truck to be. To be fair, we had never been to their restaurant location before, but we both left dissappointed. My husband ordered the mahi mahi tacos (his go-to) and I ordered an ono burrito with black beans. The fish was flaked in both our orders so it reminded me of canned tuna (the chunk light kind… aka cat food). For almost $35 for our order, shouldn’t we have identifiable pieces of fish? Flavors were fine, both the tacos and burrito were dry, definately needed sauce. Great salsa bar with interesting flavors… I kept dousing my burrito to liven it up a bit. All in all, next time we want fish tacos, we’ll head to the Jawz taco truck or somewhere else entirely.
Great Salsa Bar. Good food, quick service and reasonable price. Comfortable seating and licensed; have to have a cold cervesa to wash down the hot chili papaya salsa. Ice cream should be added to compliment the hot chili papaya salsa!
Only thing I disappointed was there was no guacamole in the tacos. But I like it overall.

Get the Fish Tacos. I don’t go to the restaurant, but the taco truck near Makena is awsome. Nothing special, just tacos done good. Try the spicy mango sauce on the picnic table. My wife can’t stand fish, but loves the MahiMahi tacos.
