New chef, new decor, and improved menu. Overall experience much better than last year. Glad we gave it another try! Still need to bring your own wine and beer, but liquor store literally across the parking lot.
Friendly and sooo tasty!. Our server, Richard, was very helpful with descriptions of menu items and steered us in the right direction.The decor is low key and space between tables is very comfortable. Atmosphere is relaxed and we particularly liked the BYOB option for alcoholic beverages.Menu choices are plentiful and varied and we had a tough time deciding on our main course.The food was hot, and so tasty! The vegetables in the curries that we had were cooked to perfection and the flavours were wonderful.The sticky rice is very good and the green tea ice cream is a perfect way to finish off your meal. ( one bowl and two spoons).We will definitely be back when we return to Maui next year..
Solid Thai food for a restaurant hidden in the back of a mall. Taste is on par with the Thai restaurants back home. For a vacation meal it was great.
Tasty Thai in Kihei. The three of us all liked our meals. The pad thai was good, the rice noodles were NOT all gummy and stuck together, the sauce was sweet enough. The Evil Prince was divine, it was a rich mix of beef sirloin strips, bamboo shoots, basil and cocoanut milk and red curry paste over finely shredded cabbage. The Cashew Chicken was good, but not much chicken.Service was impeccable, we were greeted with the smile upon entering the restaurant, seated immediately and checked on often. The water glasses were constantly being topped off.I thought it was odd charging for white rice, but whatever.Was it the best best Thai I’ve had? Probably not. Was it delicious and reasonably priced? YES. I will be back.
Great Service and great atmosphere! I had the Shrimp Red Curry Medium and it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice! I highly recommend!
This was probably one of our favorite meals here in Maui on our 2 week vacation. We ordered from the veggie lover menu, tofu matsaman and Tom yum soup, very tasty and we eat quite a bit of Thai food in the mid west. The service was very good and good atmosphere. Wish we had discovered it sooner.
We love Thai food so this restaurant had a lot to live up to. Food okay, portions on the small side, service on the reaaaaallllly slow side, and water glasses always empty. Our waitress never asked how our food was and at the end, the check was literally tossed onto our table. As far as spice goes, mild+ was hardly spicy and their medium was quite hot. There are way better restaurants to try if you are here for only a short time on vacation.
