Went to this restaurant for a family dinner, and the service was terrible, and slow. By the time we got our meals, 7 out of the 10 meals were cold, and lacked any sauce, and looked uncooked. When this was brought to the servers attention, they said they couldn’t do anything about it, as they had run out of some of the ingredients.Won’t be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
I don’t get the hype. Yes the view is great (if you get the table they say you will, but don’t count on it) but that can’t make up for the underwhelming experience. The food is below average, but the service is worse. Contemptuous and rude. Worst kind of tourist trap feeling. If you want the view come for an apply and drink, or better yet, just go for a walk on the beach and go somewhere else!
A disappointing tourist trap!Despite a reservation for a waterfront table to celebrate our anniversary we were seated in the back of the restaurant beside the kitchen.Where we reminded our server she curtly said those tables are reserved months in advance.So why the heck wouldn’t they say that when re reserved??Food was well below standard.Chicken dry, fish not fresh, stale bread and dry inedible gnocchi.We will never go back and tell all our friends….a horrible night all around.
We had calamari and asparagus as appetizers and both were too salty. We had grilled Mahi Mahi and double pork chop as main and were okay. Serving size is good and servers were very nice. I don’t think the place is fine dining enough to be too pricey. We regret not complaining about the appetizers but we were starving at that time and realized later on it was too salty. Not worth the money for dinner.
Go somewhere else!. Terrible service, sub-par food and completely overpriced. Sure, the view is nice, but so is the view from a huge number of other restaurants on Maui (and those actually have good food and service!). Not impressed at all with this place and it has been the worst restaurant we’ve eaten on the island so far. Save your money and enjoy one of the nice other restaurants Maui has to offer.
Disappointing. Small tables and large menus do not work. Very dark so that the menu cannot be read or the food seen well. Seemed to be the same pile it high strategy for the food presentation. Service was friendly, but too many servers, thus feels somehow chaotic. Such a shame.
Breakfast waterfront. Great views of water and beach with outdoor tables. French restaurant that is open until 11am for breakfast. Nice variety but small breakfast menu. Would recommend the breakfast burrito which was very large and the frittata was also very good. Ask for some guacamole on top for an added treat. Breakfast for 2 was $40, but worth it for views alone.
