Think of the best burger you’ve ever eaten; juicy, lots a toppings, great buns, along with fries and a shake. It was probably something you cooked. This is right up there with it! I’ve been looking for a good burger for 2 weeks. Eureka!
Flavorless. Sorry, our trip to Stewies was based on reviews. This will be our only trip. Burger was flavourless,onion rings way over done, and all for a hefty price.
An honest burger custom made and tastes great. There are lots of tourist traps and over rated places in Kihei. Stewart’s stands apart as a place that delivers one of the best burgers anywhere. Good old fashioned quality that takes a few moments longer and serves up a burger that loves you. No frozen patties and dry buns here! Stop reading this review and get over there!
One word ….. AWESOME!!!!. My family and I visiting from L.A stumbled upon the newly opened (i was told as of Dec 2012) Stewart’s Burgers in Kihei.All i could say is WOW!!Definitely the BEST burger i have tasted on Maui and possibly anywhere!The kids ordered burgers off the kids menu , my husband had the Double with cheese and i tried the Kula burger and we shared a basket of fries.Everything was so fresh and even though the burgers are custom made to order we only waited about 10-15 min for our order.Service was friendly and the prices very reasonable for Maui.If your looking for a casual meal i highly recommend this burger joint.We loved it so much we ate there again 2 days later.
Quality burgers. We had lunch here and the service was fast. The burgers have hand made patties, great buns, and a good selection of toppings. I’ve had some pretty mediocre burgers in Maui, but this wasn’t one of them.
Don’t Waste Your Money. I arrived at nearly 7pm with only 2 people waiting and was told there was a 20 minute wait since a large order had been placed. The large order was 6 burgers with fries/onion rings. The cook had only 1 speed (first gear) and never left it. I asked if they salt when cooking and was told they add salt, pepper, and garlic when making the patties (a BIG no no since many cannot abide salt). I asked for their Big Island beef since that isn’t seasoned (another 2 dollars). After nearly 1/2 hour, my food came and I was hugely disappointed. The expensive hamburger was overcooked, dry and chewy. He ruined it! The onion rings were also overcooked and the little onion slices were so terribly thin they were nearly non-existent. While eating, 2 families and 1 couple left after being told it was a 1/2 hour to 40 minute wait. They lost a lot of money. This is a place to not even think about. Save your money for some other place that knows what they are doing!
