Milagros has a great location in Paia right downtown in the thick of things so you can’t miss it, and frankly shouldn’t. The decor at first looks a little rustic but soon the staff will win you over, everyone seems pleased to work there and be of service. It’s worth waiting at the bar if they are no tables as the food is definitely worth the wait. Wasn’t long before we had a table and our food, Mahi Mahi Tacos sounds kind of Mexican which Milagros generally is but much more. The Mahi was done in a spice rub with sweet Thai chilli sauce and cilantro to Thai it all together. Sides of black beans and rice makes you realize the flavour is Mexican with a twist. They appear to have happy hour 3-6pm so there’s lots of time to try it and the Margaritas out.
