Fascinating rough and ready little place. This is basically an open air cafe which is part of the end bit of a low rise shopping mall. No such thing as inside seating here. Theres not one fancy thing about this place. You go to a window and order your meal from the cashier. 10 minutes later out it comes. It claims its Chinese but on the meals I saw theres very little thats Chinese about it. I ordered grilled meat. Theres a very generous serve of bbq meat or meats for $11.95. It came with white rice which is the only thing remotely Chinesey about it. Theres was some sort of cabbage under the meat which was fine. In addition – wait for it – you get some of that macaroni with coleslaw sauce that they serve in salad bars. Thats about as far from Chinese food as Beijing is away from Antarctica. My friend 50c had the seafood combo. The seafood was all deep fried and came with rice and salad macaroni too. 50c quite liked it. Then again, I liked my meat as well. And, I sort of liked the rice and macaroni. Overall, a very interesting experience.
