Tried a couple of flavors and found that they tasted more syrupy sweet than what I’d like. (I prefer to taste the fruit flavor in the syrup.). The service was friendly but the cashier did not know how to operate the cash register when we were there.
Yum. We went to Annie’s probably 5 times in 7 days – including 2 times one day. By the end, we were starting to feel like locals. I can’t compare Annie’s to any other shave ice place in Maui because we didn’t go to any others. I got hooked fast! The small is HUGE but i did have a large after a 2hr run in the hot sun. I couldn’t help ordering the Pacific every time (passion fruit, mango, guava) but they have about 20 flavors that all sounded good. I think it’s $4 for a small with up to 2 flavors. Large is $5.50 with up to 2 flavors. Refreshing!
