BanyanTreats is an ice cream and cookie shop located in the Pioneer Inn Shops at the corner of Front and Hotel Streets, right next to Lahaina's Banyan Tree Park. Enjoy your ice cream cone while sitting in our window seat, or take a stroll under the cool shade of the magnificent Banyan Tree. Our specialty is the Honi Kuki Ice Cream Sandwich-a generous scoop of Maui's own Roselani ice cream between your choice of two freshly baked Honi Kukis. Try the ice cream sandwich with fresh cookies, it’s their specialty. A fun selection of ice cream flavors and all kinds of other treats.
We were hankering from some ice cream in Lahaina. The popular place down the street had a huge line. You might say we settled for BanyanTreats but I’d disagree. I think it was a better choice. The flavor was rich and the texture was creamy.
Banyan Treats has the nicest folks behind the counter, and simply fabulous ice cream. Plus, they put a smiley face on your ice cream scoop! You have to try the Kona Mud Pie!
